Jeff Younger's Sandbox is a very interesting place… a place where improvisation and composition roam free, unhindered by tyrannical playground supervision. Graphic scores, improv games, grinning impulse, gentle beauty, sonic extremity, unapologetic skronk. Pails, shovels, flooded motes and crumbled towers, and musical contemplations on life, sound, and the cracks in between. Featuring some of Vancouver's finest young improvisers, their debut CD is set to be released on the NOW Orchestra Records label in the fall of 2008.
