This Monday, November 3rd, NOW's music series, "Live Music cisuM eviL" continues at the Jazz Cellar.
Jeff Younger's Sandbox takes to the stage to exhort with their blend of groove, sound and texture with a dynamic and stellar line-up. The band consists of Jeff Younger on electric guitar/effects, Kristian Naso/trumpet, Darren Willims/tenor saxophone, Dave Chokroun/bass and Ben Wilson/drums. This band has been together some time now, and with that comes the kind of empathy and communication that makes for great music.
They'll be playing some of the material that will be featured on their upcoming CD, The Nudger, soon to be out as the fourth release on the new NOW Orchestra Records label.
Jeff is a really gifted artist, and in the company of a sensitive and kick ass band this is sure to be a wonderful night of music!
